NAIDOC Week is a time to celebrate and recognise the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. It is an opportunity for all Australians to learn about First Nations cultures and histories while celebrating the world’s oldest, continuous living cultures.
The 2026 theme, “50 Years of Deadly,” marks a significant milestone, celebrating five decades of honouring culture, resilience, leadership and community. It recognises the Elders, artists, advocates and generations of First Nations peoples whose strength and determination have shaped the past, while celebrating the pride, achievements and bright future of the next generation.
The artwork representing NAIDOC Week 2026 will be displayed throughout our venues to celebrate achievements of the past and the bright future ahead.
